Recorded in St Louis, by legendary engineer Christopher Hughes at The Church, and supported by producer Lauren Markow (Red Pill), the Strange’s Blue Album hints at the haunting vocal colors of Jeff Buckley and Queen without the pomp and circumstance. The album includes bassist Nathan Murphy, one of the founding members of the Strange. Highlights are Texas, Promise and Heroin Me which were featured on various MTV programs. The Blue Album charted 22 of 100 on college radio nationally.
